Game Review: Super Catboy

Super Catboy is a Metal-Slug-like game by two german indie developers. A little passion project that caught my attention. Obviously mostly because of the anthropomorphic cat boy that you play in the game, but I stayed for the smooth gameplay and the fun interactions between the characters. And of course the stereotypical "bad guy wants world domintation with a wacky plan" that you know from cartoons like "Phineas & Ferb".

The game plays wonderfully smooth, the gun mechanics are comprehensive, but not necessary if you want to do a gunless run for example. The game itself has many funny aniamtions and sprites that each makes the cat react quite greatly.

Overall it's a great game for a good time, and with under 3 hours of game time, a good piece to enjoy on a quiet weekend.
